Adobe Max 2022

Whew! 

Well, of the 44 sessions I had in my schedule I was able to watch 26 of them live and now I am watching the ones that I missed IRT On-Demand. I read the On-Demand replay of the videos was only active during Max but as I looked today they are still available to watch now.

Some of the highlights for me were:

Natasha Polozenko "Become a Self-Taught Illustrator...." She broke Illustrator down into the most basic of functions that took the intimidation of using Illustrator away! 

Kristina Sherk " Photoshop Game-Changing Features..." Adobe Sensei AI is going to change the way EVERYONE works in Photoshop and which will I'm sure be implemented eventually

into all Adobe products.

Kyle T Webster " Newest Drawing Features in Fresco" was a game-changer for me! I've been a Procreate user for a couple of years now but after watching this talk I have already switched to Fresco now researching more and more about all of its functions! 

Tainosuke "Use Fresco Basic Functions to Evolve Illustrations Drastically!"  This man was flippin' INSANE!!! He drew realistic FOOD for ads and menus and whatnot with the basic pen and pencil tool in Fresco!

Zipeng Zhu "The Power of Color in Graphic Design" was soooo refreshing! His motivation is from a place of love that totally exudes from his every pore and manifests itself in ALL of his work! I will be doing more research on this Artist!

Kladi Vergine " Attention Grabbing Graphics: Social Media Animation" was AWESOME! She is so knowledgeable and so clear in her explanations of the tools and tips to create Kickass content for Social Media on ANY platform!

Dave Werner " Animated Characters for Social Media with Character Animator" This session totally gives you the knowledge even in 30 minutes on how to up your Social Media game with animated characters! Must do more research!

Martina Flor "Discover the Golden Secrets of Lettering" Her information, tips and tricks were invaluable and I love that she has an Ultimate Lettering Quiz that we can take on her website to challenge us to see how much we really know about lettering!

Gemma O'Brien "Meet The Max Speaker" I found Gemma a few years ago and I was so happy to see her in Max. I was a little disappointed in her session "A New Creative Approach: Designing With Your Whole Body" as it had mostly silly moments and not a lot of useful information....HOWEVER...this talk was INVALUABLE!!! Gemma is a celebrated Mural Artist with AMAZING designs inside the text and all around as well. If you love Typography, definitely check her out!

By far though, my FAVORITE session was:

Mr. Bingo "Alternative Ways To Make A Living" This man was first HILARIOUS and INGENIUS! Whether by "accident' or "happenstance' Mr. Bingo has a VERY UNUSUAL thought process. BEWARE: there is a LOT of British humor in this talk so be prepared.....

while this talk doesn't have much to do with Adobe Products, it DOES give you pause to think outside of the box and absolutely color outside of the lines to stay true to who you are as an artist and not have to give up principles or the FUN of your art to be a successful artist. Highly recommended!

At this moment, I am re-watching some of the sessions while also watching others that I missed.
